Big Sur!

Jacket: Blank NYC Similar here // Jeans: Zara // Top: Sold Out // Sunglasses: Tory Burch
Cross body: Tory Burch

PART 3 OF MY VACATION!

We took a road trip from LA to Napa Valley and took Hwy 1, which is the long scenic route. We drove up the mountain to Big Sur and stopped at this amazing restaurant called Nepenthe. The food was so good and the view was even better! We were literally above the clouds, as you can see in the pictures. It's definitely a must if you are going to be in Northern California!

Booties would have been way better with this outfit, but unfortunately I didn't have any to match, so the sandals had to do. On another note I'm living in this jacket by Blank NYC. I have three of them and probably on my way back to Nordstrom for another color. They are so cozy and a great leather alternative. Did I mention blush pink is my favorite right now!

What are you go-to colors this fall?

Thank you for stopping by!! :)

Fall Florals

Dress:Sold Out // Booties: BP   // Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff

I got this dress in the beginning of the summer on sale from Revolve. I waited to wear it because it's more of a fall look and definitely needs booties!

On another note, it's Friyay!!! What are you doing this weekend? Any fun Halloween parties?! I don't think I am, it's gonna be a pretty low key weekend. Just getting a much needed mani, pedi and working out!

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Catalina Island, CA

Top: Old (Similar & better for Fall) // Jeans: Zara // Handbag: Tory Burch - Similar // Shoes: Hinge

This is the second post of my recent vacation with my mom, sister, and our best friend. We spent five days in LA and took a day trip to Catalina Island. It's an hour boat ride from Long Beach, so it basically took us almost two hours to get there from LA. You can go for the day or spend a long weekend there.

My mom had been wanting to go to Catalina Island for so long. We didn't make it during our last time to LA, so I made sure to add it to our itinerary. I'm SO happy we did because it was absolutely beautiful and so much fun! There aren't many cars on the island, you either walk or rent a golf cart. It takes like 15 years to get a license there, crazy! But there isn't a need for a car or much room for cars to fit. We rented a golf cart to take a tour around the island, which was so much fun! We took a ride all around the island and drove up through the mountain. There are so many cute houses on top of the mountains and such  a beautiful view at the top. I wish I would have gotten pictures, but we didn't have much time before we had to turn in our cart. The rest of the day we walked around the island. There are several restaurants and shops to get souvenirs.

A couple of restaurant recommendations are Mi Casita -great Mexican Food, Descanso Beach Club -lunch only, it's right on the beach so you can lay out and get a cabana or lounge chairs. It was too cold when we went, but it looked heavenly to lay out and eat lunch there, definitely next time! Blue Water Grill is seafood and it's right on the water.

I highly recommend making a trip out to this island. It didn't even feel like California, it felt like some caribbean island or something. It's very peaceful and laid back, which is a nice change from LA. There are some really cute boutique hotels to stay at with spas ; ). Definitely making a trip back there soon!

More to come on vacation! Thanks for stopping by!

Malibu Wine Safari

Top: Lush (On Sale) // Vest: Dillards Sold Out Simlar here // Leggings: H&M //
Booties: Sam Edelman  (On Sale)  Handbag: Tory Burch // Sunglasses: Tory Burch

I just got back from an amazing vacation to Las Vegas and California. We spent five days in LA and made a trip out to Malibu to do the Malibu Wine Safari. It was so much fun and I highly recommend if you are going to be in the area. You get to ride in this cool open air jeep and cruise through the vineyards. Our tour guide was great, she gave us so much information about the property, the animals, and the wine, she spouted out jokes along the way that were super funny! We got to stop and feed the animals and do a little wine tasting. You might have seen Stanley, the giraffe, on TV. He's pretty famous and he's definitely the highlight of the tour. We stopped and fed him, his tongue is really long. He actually licked me and my hand got stuck in his mouth for a second! It's my fault I was trying to take a picture while feeding him and I wouldn't let go of the food. It was all good :) I will definitely be doing this again, so definitely check it out when you're in the area.

Also, I recommend going to Nobu in Malibu after since you're in the area already. The food is so good and you might spot a few celebs! Definitely make a reservation in advance, it's a hotspot that fills up quickly. It's right on the water, so you can watch the sunset while eating some really good sushi. I recommend the Dover Sole and the Miso Cod. You will never eat a better piece of fish than these!

Now about my outfit… I got this vest like a year ago for another vacation, but never wore it. I brought it along thinking it was going to be a long shot if I actually wore it. I was trying to dress "safari like" for the tour LOL, so I went with all black with the green vest and ended up loving this look. It will definitely be on repeat when Fall decides to start in Florida.

More to come to the blog on my vacation…

Thank you for stopping by!! :)

Fall Look for Florida!

Dress: Sold Out (Similar here) // Jacket: Zara
Handbag & Sunglasses: Tory Burch // Booties: Sam Edelman

I'm back to start blogging again! I took a serious break for a few months to get my life organized a bit and during that time I realized how much I enjoyed blogging, so I'm back!

This dress was a staple in my wardrobe all summer long and now I've transitioned it to fall by adding a jacket and booties. Those are the best friends when you can wear something through every season. I literally wore this dress all summer. It was so easy to throw on and go! Booties are my go to during fall and winter, they're are so comfortable. I really love these Sam Edelman's, which I've seen them on sale at Dillards. That's all for now.

Thanks for stopping by, see you on Thursday :) I'll be posting from my recent vacation!
